My wife and I found this place by reading the reviews, and it was excellent. The location was perfect. Walking distance to all of Monterey, and only a few minutes from Carmel and Point Lobos. The Inn was wonderful and food and service were both superb.

The setting is stunning- beautiful views of the bay. I never used my car for the 4 days I was there. You can walk to the Aquarium, downtown, the waterfront for kayaking, fishing, great restaurants etc. The host and staff were fabulous We requested a tour of the Inn and the antique car collection-very interesting. We loved the personal attention that is lacking in many b and b's. Rooms beautifully decorated. The evening complimentary evening cocktail party had plenty of delicious offerings. We can't wait to return.

This 1890s Victorian, converted into a Mediterranean-style villa, is conveniently located between the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Point Pinos Lighthouse, next to Cannery Row, and is within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf. Each charming guest room is uniquely decorated, and many offer marvelous views, as do the breakfast room and parlor. There is a pool table and for the guests. This historic inn is furnished with antiques, and the delicious gourmet breakfast is served on silver from the innkeeper's private collection. A stay here is a delightful trip back in time.
