Magnificent 1850 Jenny Lind American 3-piece bedroom set with carved busts of Jenny on each piece, queen bed, clawfoot tub and shower.

Welcome to the Jenny Lind room - the one time kitchen and dining room for the maid’s quarters. This popular guest room is named after the former coloratura that was introduced around the world by P.T. Barnum. Her busts are carved on the furnishings.

As you relax into this fascinating and cozy room you will soon discover many fine antiques: an 1850 American walnut exceptionally carved busts of Jenny Lind on headboard of bed shells and square finials, very elaborate carvings including fish scales and acanthus leaves; 1880 Walnut chair Eastlake with pierced carving; 1900 Oak rocker with formed seat; 1880 Brown marble top table ebonized four legs turned center post and finial arched applied; 1880 American walnut marble top 2-door washstand – 1 drawer acorn wood handles railroad applied; 1880 Federal American walnut armoire carved bust crown – 2 doors; 1910 3-post brass bridge floor lamp with glass shade.

Other interesting antiques include: an 1880 Chased silver bridal basket 4 legged round winged handle meridian 1644; 1880 Marble top American walnut nightstand - 1 door, 1 drawer round wood pulls; 1850 Marble top American walnut - 4 drawer dresser with mirror candle shelves and elaborate carved bust of Jenny Lind; 1860 Electrified marble based glass oil lamp with cloth shade; 1910 foot stool needle point 4 turned legs; and an 1850 Irish pottery foot warmer.
