Welcome to the Garden room - formerly the maid’s quarter’s living room that faced the courtyard. There was a brick floor that was just set on the ground.

This delightful room has many fine antiques that blend together to create an ambiance of intimacy: an 1840 Empire four-poster bed, rare double lace canopy; 1870 Walnut marble top washstand with drawer - 2 door; 1870 Walnut marble top oval side table center finial; 1910 Brass green onyx floor bridge lamp with glass shade; 1910 Bronzed table lamp with ridged glass inserts in shade; 1860 Finger mold chair upholstered balloon back chair with carved crest; 1880 Pressed back mahogany rocker; 1900 English walnut armoire/dresser – 3 doors, 2 each side of 1 door with arched beveled mirror – 5 drawers.

You will also discover a 1910 Mahogany fireplace front - mahogany 4 column oval beveled mirror; 1880 Rectangular silver bridal basket hinged handle - 4 legs (Middleton); 1840 Empire rectangular footstool; 1880 Silver vase with 3 gargoyles; 1860 French Rosewood nightstand - marble top fluted legs - 1 door, 1 drawer; 1900 Brass firewood basket hinged handle with bear claw feet; 1870 French marquetry nightstand with fluted legs, drop top – 1 door, 1 drawer; 1870 Yellow porcelain bowl, pitcher, vase, pair candlesticks, covered bowl; 1910 Pair pressed glass lamps with fringed shades.

Entering the bathroom, you will find an 1890 Marble top china corner basin and a 1900 5-½ foot claw foot tub and shower.
