while resting your head against the pillows, it is
breathtaking!

pierced-legged American Walnut tobacco stands with
copper-lined humidors, 1 door, applied carving; 1900
pair Oriental Tin Tea Canister lamps, walnut base,
Octagonal Shades; 1880 Eastlake American Walnut gray
marble-top dresser, tilting mirror, 2 candle shelves,
crotch veneer, incised lines Brass bale pulls, applied
carvings; 1900 matching Mahogany Upholstered 2-person
Settee, Rocker and Side Chair with claw feet, applied
carvings, scroll arms, upholstered seat & back;
1900 needlepoint upholstered bench, carved cabriole
legs; 1880 Walnut Eastlake armoire, 1 door arch top
beveled mirror, 1 drawer, two carved shell panels,
crotch veneer, brass bale pulls, incised lines.
The
Eastlake room will further delight; 1900 porcelain
oriental style table lamp, square silk shade; 1870
double drop leaf American Walnut table with drawer,
inlaid leather, lower shelf, incised lines, pierced
fence, 1900 fancy brass and onyx bridge floor lamp,
pressed brass pole, lace and fringed shade; 1880 marble
top basin and a 1900 walnut inserted marble top nightstand,
1 shelf, 1 door; 1860 walnut magazine holder, pierced,
carved, applied carvings, applied burled walnut veneer;
are in the bathroom.
As
you enter the spacious bathroom, you will surely notice
the extra long claw foot tub - it measures seven-feet
and was custom built for Mr. Parke who was quite tall.
This tub once resided on the second floor, but had
to be moved downstairs due to its weight in order
to meet current earthquake codes. You can lay in the
tub and watch the waves.
